Go Ask Alice is about a young, teenage girl who struggles with drug addiction in the early 1970s. This title sequence is fast-paced, choppy and has collage elements which portrays the life of Alice during her time of drug abuse. Because Alice always kept a diary, having the title sequence revolve around the journal makes the viewer connect to the more personal parts of this film.
